Sunday, December 13 at 7 PM

Consider taking a short time out from your pre-Christmas stress,and attend St. Dunstan's annual service of Advent Lessons and Carols on Sunday evening, December 13. Simple and elegant, this service has an atmosphere that will take you away from your daily distractions.
Not only a part of our Music Series, it is also a service of worship.It begins in darkness with a ceremony of Light, and proceeds with readings of nine lessons, each followed by a carol with a related text. Most of the carols are sung by the choir, but some are sung by the congregation.
Because this is the season of Advent, the lessons provide a chronology leading to the coming of Christ: The Creation, The Fall of Man, The Prophecies, The Annunciation, The Song of Mary, The Prophecy Fulfilled, and The Incarnation.

The service is at 7 PM, and is about an hour in length. A reception will follow in the Parish House.
